There have been several great TV announcements this week! One of the biggest announcements this week is that Fox is planning an X-Files reboot! According to zimbio.com, at the Television Critics Association winter press tour, Fox Group’s chairman and CEOs revealed they were in talks with the creator Chris Carter to revive the show that aired between 1993 and 2002. They also would want David Duchovny and Gillian Anderson to reprise their roles as FBI agents Fox Mulder and Dana Scully. There is certainly hope, especially since Gillian Anderson said on a Nerdist podcast that she would be “insert-cussword-here overjoyed” if the show got rebooted. We are crossing our fingers on this one.
