Book of the Week

In the three novellas that make up Working For Bigfoot, collected together for the first time here, readers encounter Dresden at different points in his storied career, and in Irwin’s life. As a middle-schooler, in B is For Bigfoot, Irwin attracts the unwelcome attention of a pair of bullying brothers who are more than they seem, and when Harry steps in, it turns out they have a mystical guardian of their own. At a fancy private high school in I Was a Teenage Bigfoot, Harry is called in when Irwin grows ill for the first time, and it’s not just a case of mono. Finally, Irwin is all grown up and has a grown-up’s typical problems as a freshman in college in Bigfoot on Campus, or would have if typical included vampires. Working for Bigfoot, written by Jim Butcher, is out on on June 30th!

Event of the Week

Dusk Till Dawn Events is hosting a Ghost Walk at Hangman’s Hill in the UK! You’ll take part in a series of walks, tales and local legends, and a séance by the Dusk Till Dawn Medium. During your walk, you’ll take in views by nightfall of the nearby cemetery, and an area that was once the site of a grand house – said to still be haunted by the family and staff that once lived there. Some have said to have seen a troubled spirit who runs in front of passing cars, glaring into the eyes of the drivers before disappearing. It’s said that other ghosts have been seen as well, including the penny farthing ghost and a headless horseman. After walking down Epping Pass towards Hangman’s Hill, you’ll finish at the Kings Oak Pub. The Ghost Walk at Hangman’s Hill takes place on Friday, July 10th from 10PM to 12:30AM. Get your tickets at!

Be sure to listen to the pop culture update during the Paranormal Galaxy Radio show with Alan Cox and Sherrie Wilkolaski every Thursday at 5 PM EST.
